Vagisan Moisturise and Protect Set 1 contains the following items:
- Vagisan MoistCream 50ml
- Vagisan Protective Ointment 75ml
Vagisan MoistCream can be used inside the vagina (with an applicator) and on the external genital area.
- For use inside the vagina, fill the applicator one-half full with the cream and apply inside the vagina, preferably before going to bed. It can be used once a day or less often as needed, depending on individual symptoms. We recommend wearing a panty liner when using this product.
- To care for the external genital area and the vaginal opening, Vagisan MoistCream can be applied directly several times per day as needed.
- It may be used during pregnancy and while breastfeeding.
- For vaginal dryness, Vagisan MoistCream can be applied as needed prior to intercourse.
A thin layer of the Vagisan Protective Ointment is applied to and spread on the regularly affected areas in the external genital area. A pea-sized amount in the front and in the rear genital area is fully sufficient, for example. The ointment can be applied 1–2 times a day, more frequently if required. Application is recommended especially
- after washing
- after using toilet paper
- around the anus before and after a bowel movement
- before sporting activities
Vagisan Protective Ointment can also be used in the external genital area during menstruation.
